Title: Salesforce Financial Services Competency Head
Job Description:
A Salesforce Financial Services Competency Lead is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a dedicated Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on leveraging Salesforce Financial Services Cloud within a financial institution, ensuring optimal utilization of the platform to streamline business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive key performance indicators across sales, service, and wealth management functions by leading a team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify needs, implement solutions, and manage ongoing maintenance and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Define the vision and roadmap for the Salesforce Financial Services Competency, aligning with overall business objectives and industry trends.
• Define and lead the GTM strategy
• Establish governance standards and best practices for Salesforce usage across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to leverage the Salesforce platform for new business initiatives and customer engagement strategies.
Implementation and Development:
• Define, build and present offers in financial services leveraging FSC, nCino, Certinia, etc.
• Lead business development, presales, customer solutioning efforts from the front
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions tailored to specific financial services needs, including custom objects, workflows, and integrations.
• Deep understanding of nCino functionalities, including loan origination, customer onboarding, account management, and integrations with other systems.
• Manage project teams responsible for Salesforce implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Oversee data migration and cleansing processes to ensure data quality within Salesforce.
Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate closely with business leaders across sales, pre-sales, service, wealth management, and operations to understand their requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• collaborate closely with salesforce product and sales team to influence product roadmap and delivery execution
• Facilitate communication and alignment between the CoE team, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
• Advocate for the value of Salesforce to key decision-makers and drive adoption across the organization.

Team Leadership and Development:
• Build and manage a high-performing Salesforce CoE team, including developers, administrators, analysts, and consultants.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the CoE.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Salesforce implementations and user adoption.
• Analyze usage data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
• Monitor system performance and address any technical issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 12+ years of experience in Financial Services cloud and nCino.
• Certifications: Admin, Sales, Service, FSC Specialist Superbadge, FSC AP, OmniStudio Consultant, Banking AP, Experience Cloud Consultant, nCino
• Deep understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud features and functionalities.
• Extensive experience in Salesforce implementation, customization, and configuration.
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams across development, business analysis, and project management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting to measure Salesforce performance.
• Proven experience in leading successful nCino implementations within the banking industry
• Deep understanding of banking operations, loan lifecycle management, and related regulatory requirements
• Open to travel (25%).
