Job Description
Corporate Tax:
Corporate Tax manages a wide variety of tax related issues. It includes a variety of tasks, such as assisting in Use Tax workpapers, analyzing and responding to taxing authority notices, generating tax payments reports, registering with taxing authorities and preparing tax forms. The team is also involved in designing strategies and process to improve data consolidation, and integrity through various data validation and quality measures
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in resolving tax notices from different taxing authorities within the US
- Work with tax service providers to obtain information related to tax notices
- Tracking and responding to intimations from the IRS related to legal entities
- Talk to agents from the state taxing authorities and IRS to resolve tax notices
- Reduce recurring manual data calculations and collection through automation
- Participate in the process documentation efforts and creation of SOPs
- Assist business in creating process workflows and optimization
Required Skills:
- Good Excel skills (for reporting, reconciliation etc.)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good analytical skills with demonstrated experience in effective problem solving
- A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to handle multiple tasks concurrently
