Job Description

Responsibilities

Work with the Service Delivery Team to understand their portfolio, business strategy, prioritization, etc. to facilitate quality service delivery.
Work with IT Global Program Management Office and cross functional PMOs to define the approach
Provide executive visibility to project, program, portfolio and functional level status, issues, risks, costs, etc.
Provide information to IT Global Program Management Office so demand, financials, service and project delivery can be aggregated to the enterprise level
Assist with FY Plan and Outlook activities
Monitor and report on actual and projected spend to demonstrate function operates within FY Plan/Outlook – function, portfolio and program/project levels.
Assist in the implementation and embedding of process, methods and best practice into service delivery activities for the function, including project management, financial management, resource management, etc.
Improve communications, content and transparency of information with key customers

To qualify for the role you must have

Degree at university level
English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
3+ years of experience, including demonstrated project management and financial management experience
End to end understanding of IT life cycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, financial)
Experience in end-to-end financial management – plan, forecast, actual – function, portfolio and program/project levels
Very good understanding of service delivery related key performance indicators
Project delivery experience in a similar IT environment
Experience working in a global IT environment
Business Analytic skills
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
Customer orientation and responsiveness
Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
Outstanding self-management , influence management , information presentation and interpersonal, communication

As a BPR Project and Program Manager you will plan, mobilize, and execute large
projects and programs, ensuring system changes are thoroughly tested and
organizations are ready for process changes. You will be the prime mover of your
projects including scoping, resource-planning, communications, project governance, risk
management, and readiness. You’ll connect the dots, build trust and understanding
between groups, and orchestrate the activities needed to make your projects successful.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing large, global projects that
interweave multiple functional teams and/or multiple systems.

Key Qualifications

• At least 5 - 7 years of proven experience planning, managing, and successfully
delivering large cross-functional systems projects
• Experience establishing program structure for optimal return-on-investment,
and coordinating and delegating cross-project initiatives
• Experience with systems implementations and software development life cycles
• Experience with global projects incorporating regional and country-specific
details
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity to clarify objectives and execution plans
• Service, support, warranty contract, and/or supply chain experience preferred
• Project management certification a plus
• Experience or exposure to S/4 HANA implementations will be an added
advantage
• Exceptional communicator (both written/verbal)

Description
As a Business Process Reengineering Project Manager you will plan, and lead multiple
projects using AppleCare BPR’s methodologies for consistently high-quality results. Host
core team, leadership, and steering committee meetings, keeping core and
management teams well-informed about project developments in a fast-paced
environment; lead geographically-dispersed, cross-functional teams, including
collaborations with third-party partners; balance project scope, schedule, and budget
constraints with business needs and expectations; identify and engage all resources
needed to mobilize projects; establish project roadmaps and schedules, keeping
activities on track to major achievements. In addition, you will:
• Manage project risk throughout the life of the project; identify, document, and
drive resolution of project issues
• Identify key decision recommendations and broker agreements with internal and
external partners
• Influence decisions through collaboration, leadership and customer-focused
approach
• Elicit requirements/user stories/use cases from business experts
• Partner with technical teams to plan effective workshops for technical
deliverables
• Ensure business teams and partners are prepared for system and process
changes, including training plans for knowledge transfer to sustaining teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Facilitate capital planning for new projects and project scope changes, including
business justifications and strategic road maps.
