Devops Lead
Location; Irving, Texas,
Responsibilities:
• Infrastructure Projects and Server Setup: Plan, deploy, and maintain server infrastructure for various projects. This includes setting up physical and virtual servers, configuring network settings, ensuring high availability and scalability, and performing regular maintenance and updates.
• Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using scripting languages like Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment with strong knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Lightspeed, RLM, Git, UDeploy, etc.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Containerization: Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Security: Ensure DevOps processes adhere to security best practices, including vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Configuration Management: Knowledge of configuration management databases like ServiceNow and Jira for effective tracking.
• Technology Improvements: Support technology improvements such as new infrastructure installations, hardware/software upgrades, and engineering support on RHEL, WebSphere, Apache HTTP, and Tomcat servers.
• Disaster Recovery: Plan and document disaster recovery procedures. Conduct regular COB tests to check the integrity and functionality of disaster environments.
• Risk Assessment: Support risk assessments requiring technical expertise; assist Security Incident Response Teams in investigating incidents and training key staff.
• Information Security: Analyze and implement information security procedures across IT and business units. Understand and apply corporate and business-specific policies.
• Industry Standards: Thorough understanding of industry and corporate technology standards for information security.
• Decision-Making: Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $1,58,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
