Job Description:-
 
JOB DUTIES: This position will involve administrating (installation, configuration and maintenance) the network and hardware infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on position requiring on site presence 5 days a week at NEW JERSEY.
 
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Min BS or equivalent and 7- 10 years of experience. This position will involve both software and hardware administration, so the right candidate will need to have the flexibility required to make the shift back and forth. Hardware administration will involve introducing new equipment to the network; ground-up network design experience not required.
 
Experiences in the following will be very useful:
Routing and switching
Data center architectures
WAN Accelerators
SDWAN
 
Vendors:
Cisco Arista Aruba switches, Data center equipment
Aruba wireless
Silverpeak SDWAN
Riverbed WAN Accelerators
 
Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / CCIE or equivalent will be very helpful also.

  • Architecture Planning & Installation:
    • Lead the design of platform, middleware, database, backup systems
    • Conduct technology capacity planning
    • Implement disaster recovery and backup plans
  • Operations Management:
    • Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis
    • Plan and manage upgrades, migrations, and maintenance
    • Review technical performance and enhance efficiency
    • Develop shift roster and update operational manuals

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
