Job Description

Join Wipro as a Power Systems Solution Architect and be part of a global team revolutionizing the energy industry. We are seeking a talented individual to design and implement cutting-edge Power Systems Network Analytics and Smart Grid solutions. As a Power Systems Solution Architect at Wipro, you will work on complex agile customer projects, leveraging your expertise in Python, machine learning, and power system engineering. You will collaborate with business experts, business analysts, and solution architects to develop innovative solutions for global utilities, addressing operational and commercial challenges efficiently and effectively.

 

Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in Python, machine learning, and commercial analytics to implement new network analysis & analytics solutions for Electricity Network and Grid Operator.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Python-based tools and analyze data to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and develop Python applications, ensuring high availability and high performance.
- Deploy Python code into various environments and conduct code reviews for continuous improvement.
- Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), as well as cutover and go-live activities.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in Python programming and its application for complex problem solving, optimization, and data processing.
- Expertise in power system engineering, analysis, and power system component modeling in Python.
- Considerable experience in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, DPL, and Python programming on top of DPL.
- Knowledge of power system engineering basics and appreciation of the GB network.
- Expert knowledge in data management and visualization techniques in Python.
- Familiarity with visualization libraries Python API and programming experience in DIgSILENT DPL, C/C++.
- Expertise in Power Systems analysis functions and Python-based interface/integration development with other systems.
- Experience in Agile software development environment with multi vendors.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
